Learn About Farming!

A small farmer wears many hats. Sometime we are growers, shepherds, marketers, salesmen, biologist, botanists, entrepreneurs, accountants, nutritionists, etc. Some of these roles are deliberate and planned, others we happen to stumble upon.

We have always wanted to share everything we have learned over the years while growing our farm. This year, we finally got the opportunity to start educating. Farmer Amy got a call from a friend to see if we could teach a class of kindergarten children about honeybees. She gladly obliged and our new education enterprise had begun.

We will be performing in-class learning opportunities and field trips for K-5 students starting in 2024. We hope to expand our educational offerings to K-12 and adults in the near future. Below are some of the topics we are prepared to teach about:

  • Chickens

  • Ducks

  • Gardening

  • Trees

  • Soil/Worms

  • General Farm/Homestead
